Tomato Sauce

Make a big batch and store it in a mason jar. Only one round of work, but you’ll have months of supply.

Perfect for preserving in the summer // healthy & tasty // there’s no going back.

Ingredients

50 cherry tomatoes, halved
2 shallots
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon turmeric
Black pepper & salt

Method

Gently sauté the shallots and garlic in a little olive oil.
Add the cherry tomatoes and let simmer on very low heat for 5 minutes. Be careful not to let the tomatoes stick. Season with salt and pepper.

Finally, add the turmeric and a little water until you have a nice sauce.

Let simmer gently for another 5 minutes. The sauce is ready!

Super tasty with pasta, a piece of meat, or with vegetables.
