Stuffed Dates
Our favorite sweet treat. Simply heavenly!
Slightly addictive, these dates // easy to make // packed with fiber, polyphenols & healthy fats.
Ingredients
12 Medjool dates
24 almonds with skin (or another nut of your choice)
100 g dark chocolate (72%)
Roasted almond flakes
Method
Slice the dates open lengthwise and remove the pits. Insert two almonds into each date and gently press them closed again. Melt the chocolate slowly in the microwave.
Dip the dates into the melted chocolate and then place them on a bed of almond flakes. Roll them through the flakes using two forks and leave them to set on a plate lined with parchment paper. Store in a sealed glass jar in the refrigerator.
